the gf noticed last night that it was running rough, but that went away after it warmed up. this morning, same deal, running rough, went away after i gassed it a lil'. fast forward to lunch- went to get a burger and felt like it was only running on 5 cylinders. so i popped the hood to see something smoking near the fuel damper. is clear fluid dropping on the engine and smoking upon contact?? why yes it is. is it fuel?? why yes it was, got a head rush when i sniffed it lol (jk). so there i am in my work parking lot with some brown rags and a fire extinguisher, sniffing gas like a fool. i called Z1 and they told me to replace the fuel hose from the damper with a local auto parts fuel line, 5/16 size. if that doesn't fix it, change the damper. i'll have it towed back home tonight and try to fix it best i can. i'm just paranoid now 'cause if it's not the hose then i may end up finding out the hard way that it WAS the damper. thanks Z1 for ya'lls help, everyone make sure their fuels hoses are intact during this cold season please, i feel like i just had a close call....
